Update December 2024
Built, tested, and working. I will make this available as bare PCBs, a full kit, and PCBs with the surface mount components pre-soldered in January 2025.
About five years ago I made a standalone LFO on perfboard (again using Electric Druid’s TAPLFO pic) for live performance with a Korg Delta, which has a +/-5v CV input for the filter.
I wanted to be able to control the LFO depth with an expression pedal, to free up a hand while playing.
I revisited this, making a PCB and panel for it, and this time, I added a secondary LFO to modulate the first one.
It uses a charge pump to get a bipolar +/-12v from a 9v wall wart, and a case made of FR4 panels.
Once the boards are back from JLCPCB, I’ll build it and post an update.
