6 VCAs in 8 HP. What’s not to like.
This is a busy through hole board with lots of vertically mounted resistors.
I built two of these from PCB. If you’re building this, make sure you alternate the resistors so that the leg of one faces the other resistor itself, rather than its leg, because the potential for accidental short circuits is quite high with them packed in so densely. There is a circular marking on the board for each resistor – can’t remember if this is mentioned in the build guide or not, but if you stick to mounting the resistor straight down so its other leg is bent top down into the non-marked hole, you’re safe and dry.
The other thing is watch out for different brightnesses in the LEDs if you’re not building from a kit.
